Jade & Abby give counselor, Jessika, a group hug before going on their hike to the upper shack for their campout. Counselor's Meghan, Sarah & Emily give a group hug as they prepare for their overnight adventure.
Jade, Erin & Katelynne roast marshmallows for smores at the overnight campout. The campers are treated to a night out at Crider's Rodeo on Saturday night. Our very own horse counselor, Megan, is posting colors at Criders.
Jade, Holly & Abby get ready for the cowboys to come out at the rodeo. Erin & Katelynne are ready too!
Nurse Julie, Carli, counselor Meghan, Anne Sophie & counselor Sarah M. just love watching the cowboys. Anne Sophie is from France, where there is no such thing as a rodeo. Jen & counselor Sarah S. think cowboys are OK too!
All the campers line up with all of the other children to participate in the traditional "calf scramble", where they try to pull the ribbon off the tail of the calves. Off they go!
Amye, Jade, Carli & Abby smile as they just finished the calf scramble. They also cannot resist the urge to dance as the PA system belts out songs during the rodeo.
Carli, Abby & Amye practice their archery from the 10 yard line. Daniela & Jade have fun jumping off the dock on the river.
